Did You Hear? Lilli Claire is in the house!!!

Hi ya everyone!  It's another Thursday and that means a fabulous Tiddly Ink oldie image is on display.  Today's creation is by the wonderfully talented Lou Mac of Cartolinas from Lou Mac.  She has such a gorgeous bright and vibrant style and I never get tired of her gorgeous color choices.  Lou decided to use the ever so sweet Lilli Claire - Did You Hear? image.

If you have never seen the adorable Lilli Claire there are a number of different digital images in the Tiddly Inks shop dedicated to the sweet Lilli Claire right HERE.  There are even a few sweeties for the upcoming holiday season; HERE and HERE for those that like to get an early start.

Lou Mac has created a gorgeous card with Lillie Claire and added the most beautiful yellow and turquoise to her creation.
Stunning right?  If you'd like to see more of Lou's creation head over to her blog HERE!  Just a little side note Lou Mac is fantastic with ProMarkers and used those on her creation above.  So if you'd like a few hints head over to her blog and ask her, I'm sure she'd love to share her color combos with you!

A Little Bit of Batty...

Welcome back to another week of revisiting the old Tiddly Ink images we all love.  Melissa here this week to show you a creation that the fabulous Lou of Loopy Lou's Loopy Thoughts created just for you!  Lou chose to use the ever so adorable Batty.
This image is perfect for those soon to be created Halloween cards for sure, but don't you think any teenager would love this image too?  She's super goth, yet still has that sweetness that Tiddly Ink images always offers!  Check out Lou's creation using Batty!
Lou has a gorgeous vintage style in her creations and I LOVE the fact that she's thinking fall already as it's my favorite time of the year!  Her combination of black and that rustic orange is perfect on this creation using the wonderfully cute Batty!  What did you just say??  You haven't been to Lou's blog? Oh, you must stop by and don't forget to pick up a Batty of your own!

Sale Ending, Acrylic Stamp Reorders---and a vacation announcement

Hi my very favorite peoples!!! :)  Okay a few things today. :)

If you are in the UK, you should check out the magazine spread created by Kim Dellow in Simply Cards and Papercrafts.  Her ideas are fabulous---and they are using Tiddly Inks images!!! This issue is available for purchase now--click HERE to go their web page.

You can find Kim's fantabulous blog HERE...I am secretly (not so secretly) stalking her amazing work. hehe

Now, can I just say a huge THANK YOU!!!! You guys never cease to amaze me with your kind words and emails and notes about the images and each one makes my heart happy. :) I thank you for all the lovely compliments on Annabelle and the amazing samples created by the DT. I am so lucky to work with such amazing ladies.

However, sad as it may be, the sale is now officially over. I left the code up for a few hours after the announced ending to catch any stragglers, but, officially, it is over. Thank you again for your kind support. :) I hope you have fun coloring! :)

Second, the pre-orders of acrylic stamps did not work as I had expected and I apologize. I had no trouble with pre-ordering last time, so I am not sure what happened. Once the acrylic stamps are restocked, I will offer the sale again for the same length of time as this sale. That way, no one misses out. I still do not have an official date for the restocking, but I am working on it with the manufacturer.

And finally and most important. Although I have been struggling about doing this, as I will miss your lovely notes and posts, I am going to be taking a official, off-the-clock-and-out-of-the-blogging-world vacation in which I veg my brain and body.

Well, actually, I will still be semi-available as the shop won't be "officially" closed--and I will ship orders and help with problems downloading---but, for the next few weeks, I am going to attempt to stop posting new images, facebooking, and blogging. I am slightly worried the world might end once I do that, but I am going to take the don't post any world-ending news on Facebook as I won't see it. LOL Seriously, you are welcome to email me, but unless it is an order issue, I am officially a vacationing illustrator for a few weeks.

So in sum, although the shop will remain "open," I will be in a short creative hiatus until Sept 18.

Why? Well, I have been working on Tiddly Inks for more than 2 years now in one form or another almost every day (literally 7 days a week most weeks) and I rarely take time off to rejuvenate.  So I think it is time to take a short break----I love what I do, but I can't seem to stop doing it---I mean, I started typing this note at midnight and I think that says it all. LOL

Plus, I am a little run down (see note about working at midnight, foolish mortal that I am) and need to boost my health and creativity. I had a small bout of illness this summer, but I am not springing back like I used to and that has added to my decision to take a body needs a chance to just relax and get totally healed and de-stressed--yup, that is a word. :)

I hope you understand and although I will miss everyone, this is a much needed time to rebuild my creativity and health. I will see you soon feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. :) I may be back before September 18 but if not, I aim to be back with new images by that date.  Until then, try to relax and color lots of pretty things to share with everyone. :)

PS: After the current Summer challenge, our challenges will also take a short break, but they will return on September 18 as well for a new wonderful idea proposed by Melissa.

Pinky Door Hanger Fun!

Hi ya everyone!  Melissa here again this week sharing an older image that is perfect for any tween/teen in your life.  I love these great gothic images that Christy draws.  They are perfectly adorable but have a bit of a dark side too!  Meet Pinky:
It is so much fun to color her long flowy hair.  The skull cupcake makes it perfect for the tweens/teens I mentioned earlier too.  Have you noticed how popular cute skulls are now?  I see them all over and my own daughter likes them too!
I decided to make a fun pennat style door hanger with Pinky using a number of fun Spellbinders dies and Simple Stories papers.  I used some adorable letter ribbon from Ribbon Carousel as well.
This is the hanger on my girls door.  Pinky can be used for any project.  If you'd like to see more projects using Pinky head over to the Tiddly Inks Shop and scroll through the projects at the bottom of the digi image!

Have a great day and join us again next Thursday were the fabulous Lou will have a gorgeous project using a favorite older image!

Anna Belle Release and Sale

Hello my darlings!

Happy Anna Belle day! :) I am so excited to show off this new little cutie. She is named Anna after Melissa's daughter and my daughter's nickname's is Bella, so Anna Belle seemed like a good fit (plus, I know Danni is partial to it, as I am sure many moms are as well!).

All the new listings are HERE.

I am going to do the samples a bit differently this time...normally I put every DT member's card on the blog and only a few in the shop, but instead, today, I added each one to the shop and will only add a few to the can click on the image or the link and see the rest of the samples. :)

GOOD AND BAD NEWS - please read if you want acrylic stamps
Okay, so today was supposed to include a full order of acrylic/clear stamps as well as digitals, but I have a limited number of acrylic stamps due to a delay in the packaging being printed improperly. I made a change to the back of the package and it resulted in a longer-than-expected delay, sooooooooo although the order is in the works...

.....this means that there are limited quantities available for shipping. EDIT: A lovely customer let me know that the pre-orders are not working correctly. If you tried to pre-order the acrylic stamps, I will offer the sale again when the stamps are restocked. I am sorry this didn't work as worked okay last time, I tried this. :(  When I run out of the acrylic stamps today, I will switch to pre-orders (which I am super sorry to do...yuck!!), but you will be able to order them for the same price as those offered today while the sale lasts---however, there will be an unknown delay in shipping until the new packaging arrives.

Best Friends using Dogs R Fun!

Hi ya everyone, Melissa here today to start a new tradition on the Tiddly Inks blog.  We really want to make sure that the fabulous fans of Tiddly Inks get a chance to see some of the older images that Christy drew.  Often times we get caught up in the new but forget to show off the old.  Let me tell you, there are so many adorable images at Tiddly Inks that the Tiddly crew will be featuring one a week here on the Tiddly Inks blog.

Today, I'm going to be sharing a card I made using the ever so cute image: Dogs R Fun.
This image is perfect for any dog lover you might know.  It also very represintative of Christy's gothic images that have made Tiddly Inks so popular.  There are so many options for coloring and paper piecing for this beauty.  Below I made this card using my Copic Markers and paper from Simple Stories.
If you'd like to see more fabulous creations using this image head over to the Tiddly Inks Shop and scroll through the lovely creations below the image.
